Ben Whaley, Ollie Groves and Will Taylor are your RS200 Coaches for 2024/2025
Your RS200 Committee is excited to announce our Class-recommended coaches for the 2024/2024 season. We are chuffed to have Ben Whaley, Ollie Groves and Will Taylor on board to help provide coaching all across England. We can also help find coaches for Wales and Scotland.
The RS200 class offers a limited number of training grants for open training attended by Class Association members. Recently, full advantage of these has not been taken so we welcome all applications for funding to spread the love of RS 200 sailing.
Ben Whaley is RS200 and RS400 National Champion and campaigning with the British Sailing Team. Will Taylor is ex-Chairman and current RS 21 National Champion. Ollie Groves is an RS400 sailor, 2000 National Champion and this year’s Endeavour Champion.
The grants are £150 in value, for the host club/grant applicant to use towards covering the cost of the coach and their expenses. The coaching will need to be organised by the club/grant applicant and at least one sailor per boat needs to be an RS Class Association member. A minimum of 6 boats should attend the training. Grants are not exclusive to these coaches.
Please contact Class Secretary Sally Campbell for further information, full t&c’s and to apply for a grant.
Bethan Matthew, RS200 Class Chair
