RS Eurocup YC Carnac, Brittany, France POSTPONED

With great regret your RS Class Association and Y.C Carnac have made the decision to postpone this event indefinitely due to the worsening worldwide pandemic and the consequent travel and movement restructions within and between the UK and France.

Sailors who have made payment for the event are asked to contact [email protected] to process a refund, or to request that the fee is transferred to another RS event (such as your National Champs, which are still live on the calendar and we are hopeful they will stay that way!)

We are optimistic that the Carnac event will be rescheduled either for the autumn of 2020 or for the early spring of 2021. Sailors who have purchased ferry tickets and cannot access a full refund may be able to carry their ferry ticket forward (Some ferry companies are allowing deferrment for up to a year of the planned day of travel).

Please contact your ferry company and travel insurer to find out what you are entitled too, but do not hestitate to get in touch if you have any quations for us. We are working at home as usual and ready to help in any  way that we can.

Thank you for your ongoing support of your Class Association. Without your enthusiasm and love for your sport there would not be all these wonderful events to look forward to when the situation improves. Stay well and get out on the water as much as you can. See you all soon.

Refund policy:
If you cancel your entry before the early entry deadline we will refund all fees, minus a £10 admin fee. If you cancel after the early entry deadline, but before online entry closes our standard policy is to return 50% of fees. Where an event entry limit has been reached a refund will only be issued if another boat from the waiting list takes your place. If you cancel after entry closes we will not usually issue a refund.
Please note that where entry is paid directly to the club and for club hosted events a different policy may apply - please contact the club for details.
