RS600 Rooster National Tour 2025 - Will Russell leads the pack
As we go into the countdown for the RS600 Inland Championships at Grafham WSC, 17/18 May, Will Russell is at the top of the results table, having sailed both events, and enjoyed his first ever RS600 Rooster National Tour win at Oxford.
After Grafham, a first discard will kick in, so the stakes are high and we are sure to see competitive racing!
That said, we've seen a lot of RS600s changing hands recently and we want to emphasise that ALL RS600 sailors are welcome at our events, whatever your level of experience, fleet racing is absolutely the best way to improve! Most RO's will sue the whiskey flag, so the whole fleet won't have to wait for tail enders, plus the experienced sailors in the fleet are always happy to help with anything from the basics to boat bimbles. We'd also direct new to our RS600 YouTube Channel for some tips in our 'basics' series, it's a good refresher for experienced sailors too.
Online entry is open for the Inlands and also the Summer Champs at Warsash, 21/22 June and the Noble Marine National Championships, Mounts Bay, 25-28 Sept - we're urging all RS600 sailors to sign up asap to be sure that the 600 fleet gets a good say in how the events are run, and because the more that enter, the more that enter...!
