Travemunde or Riva in 2026?
The RS600 fleet had a fabulous time at the Riva Cup in 2024, and immediately vowed to go back again in 2026.
However in 2026 RS Sailing will be hosting the RS games at Travemunde Woche, an awesome event for all classes in the RS family.
The RS600 fleet is not big (or rich) enough to support 2 International events in 2026, so which do we go for?
Following an initial 'straw poll' we'd now like to canvass the considered opinion of as many 600 sailors as possible, so have set up a class meeting:
7.30pm Tuesday 20th May
- Michiel Geerling from RS Sailing will give a short talk on Travemunde Woche and the RS Games
- Jamie Mawson, RS600 fleet chair, will give a short talk on the Riva Cup
- The floor will be opened for discussion and questions
- If appropriate a vote will be held, which will guide your committee when they make the final decision
Please come along, find out more about the events and help us decide!
