EVENT INFORMATION:

The first event of the 2022 RS600 Rooster National Tour

Let's get the season started with a bumper entry!

A combined single handed event with the RS600s, Contenders, D-ones and K6s.

• First race start 13:00 on 2nd April
• 3 races each day
• RS 600s to start first with the other 3 fleets at 2 minute intervals
• Trapezoid courses with a windward gate not far from the leeward mark
• Galley will be open both days with hours extended as required
• No camping on site, but there is a campsite about a mile from the club (details to follow)
• Prizes - RS600 Rooster National Tour prizes for winner, mid-fleet hero and Endeavour, plus prizes from OSC.
• Entry fee £30

ACCOMMODATION:

There is plenty of available accommodation in the area ranging from Hotels through B&Bs to campsites. Details of these can easily be found by searching online. Oxford is less than 5 miles away and there is a Hotel, pub, shop and a curry house in the nearest village of Eynsham about 2 miles away. 

There is a small campsite on the outskirts of Farmoor village that is walkable to the club: www.valleyfarmcampsite.com and another one West of Farmoor at Standlake (15 minute drive) that has a clubhouse that serves alcohol and food: www.hardwickparks.co.uk/touring

It is important that all entrants are aware that NO DOGS are allowed beyond the car park although there is a walk that starts in the lefthand corner of the car park that takes you around the reservoir, but doesn’t allow access to the road around the top edge or to the Clubhouse..

Refund policy:
If you cancel your entry before the early entry deadline we will refund all fees, minus a £10 admin fee. If you cancel after the early entry deadline, but before online entry closes our standard policy is to return 50% of fees. Where an event entry limit has been reached a refund will only be issued if another boat from the waiting list takes your place. If you cancel after entry closes we will not usually issue a refund. Please note that where entry is paid directly to the club and for club hosted events a different policy may apply - please contact the club for details.
